Individual Therapy

Individual therapy at Break The Frame Psychotherapy is a collaborative, affirming space designed to help you understand yourself more deeply and move through the world with greater ease. Whether you're navigating trauma, neurodivergence, chronic illness, identity exploration, relationship challenges, or the weight of simply being human, therapy is a place where your story is met with respect—not judgment.

Our work together centers on expanding your capacity, strengthening your sense of self, and untangling the patterns that no longer serve you. We look at the systems that shaped you, the strategies you’ve built to survive, and the future you want to build. Sessions are paced with your nervous system in mind, honoring your access needs, communication style, and lived experience.

Individual therapy here is not about fixing you—because you’re not broken. It’s about widening your choices, reconnecting with what feels possible, and supporting you in claiming the kind of life, relationships, and internal landscape you deserve. Whether you’re seeking clarity, healing, skill-building, or simply a space that understands the complexity of your brain and body, you don’t have to do it alone.

We’re trained in EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Somatic Experiencing, Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy and more.

Group Therapy

Group therapy at Break The Frame Psychotherapy is a trauma-informed, collaborative space where people with shared lived experiences can connect, be witnessed, and practice new ways of relating. Each group is designed with nervous system safety, accessibility, and authenticity at the center.

You’re never expected to disclose more than you want or perform a certain version of yourself. Instead, we co-create a space where boundaries are respected, pacing is gentle, and each person’s communication style and needs are honored. Groups often explore themes like identity, neurodivergence, chronic illness, trauma responses, relationship patterns, and the impact of systemic stressors.

In group therapy, you have the chance to:

  • Practice communication and boundaries in real time

  • Feel less alone by hearing others’ stories that resonate with your own

  • Notice relational patterns as they emerge in community

  • Build skills and insight in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment

Group therapy isn’t about comparison or fitting in—it’s about healing in connection. In community, there is room for complexity, nuance, and genuine belonging.

Relationship Therapy

Relationship therapy at Break The Frame Psychotherapy is a trauma-informed space for partners—monogamous, ethically non-monogamous, or part of a larger constellation—to slow down, feel safer with one another, and rebuild patterns that support connection instead of overwhelm. We recognize that every relationship is shaped by past experiences, attachment histories, nervous system responses, and the systems you’ve lived within. All of that is welcome in the room.

Our work together centers on helping each person understand what happens inside their body during conflict or closeness, how old survival strategies show up in present-day dynamics, and what each partner needs to feel more grounded, heard, and respected. We explore pacing, boundaries, communication, trust, repair after rupture, and the ways trauma and neurodivergence shape how you relate.

Therapy may focus on rebuilding safety, reconnecting emotionally, navigating transitions, or shifting long-standing patterns that cause disconnection. Therapy can support you in creating trauma-responsive agreements, tending to multiple attachment bonds, navigating jealousy or fear without shame, and building structures that honor the nervous systems of everyone involved—not just the relationship “rules.”

Across all configurations, the goal is not to assign blame or force sameness—it’s to create space where each person’s truth can be held with compassion. Relationship therapy helps you co-create a dynamic rooted in choice, safety, and intention, so you can move toward a version of connection that feels supportive and sustainable for everyone.

At Break The Frame Psychotherapy, Autism and ADHD evaluations are grounded in respect, curiosity, and the belief that neurodivergence is a valid and valuable way of being—not a flaw to be fixed. Our approach centers your lived experience, honors your communication style, and moves at a pace your nervous system can tolerate.

A neuroaffirming evaluation is not about proving something is “wrong” with you. It's about helping you understand the way your brain works, why certain things have always felt the way they do, and what supports or accommodations might help you thrive. We look beyond checklists and stereotypes, exploring how traits show up across your life, how masking may have shaped your story, and how trauma, chronic illness, and systemic experiences intersect with neurodivergence.

Throughout the process, you can expect:

  • Collaborative conversations, not interrogations

  • Respect for silence, stimming, pacing, and overwhelm

  • Space to share your internal experience, not just external behaviors

  • Attention to sensory needs, executive functioning patterns, and burnout

  • Validation of strengths, creativity, and adaptive strategies

  • Clear, accessible feedback and a written report rooted in affirmation—not deficit narratives

For many people, an evaluation offers language for lifelong experiences, reduces shame, and opens the door to more self-compassion, better boundaries, and supportive environments.

Whether you’re seeking clarity for yourself, exploring late-identified neurodivergence, pursuing workplace or school accommodations, or simply wanting to understand your brain without pathologizing it, our evaluations honor your complexity and your humanity.
